This is my beloved Panther. During the lockdown in 2020, I was still recovering from the pain of losing my cat, Thanos, who ran away and never returned. At that time, I promised myself not to adopt another cat while living in my rental apartment in Metro Manila because it hurt so much when they were gone.
One day, while returning from the grocery store, a kitten started following me. She was with her mom and sibling. Surprisingly, the mother cat seemed fine with it, almost as if she was saying, “Please take good care of her.” So, I picked up the kitten and brought her home, and that’s how Panther became part of my life.
